Dose: Unless otherwise directed by a doctor. Adults and children over 12 years of age: One to two tablets to be swallowed with water. The dose should not be taken more frequently than every four hours and not more than four times in any 24 hour period. Maximum daily dose: Eight tablets (4.0 g of paracetamol and 64 mg of codeine) in any 24 hour period in divided doses. Lower doses are required in the elderly or if you have liver or kidney problems. Each tablet contains: 8mg of codeine phosphate and 500 mg of paracetamol.
Contains paracetamol. Do not take with other paracetamol-containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well. If you need to use this medicine for more than three days at a time, see your doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive, or operate machinery. Avoid alcoholic drinks. Taking codeine regularly for a long time can lead to addiction. Taking a painkiller for headaches too often or for too long can make them worse. Warning: Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original package.
