For the relief of mild to moderate pain, including teething pain, and reducing fever. Read and retain carton for full instructions.
Check that the seal is not broken before first use. Shake the bottle thoroughly. Use the measuring spoon provided. For oral use. Age - Dosage: 3 months to 1 year - Give half to one 5ml spoonful. 1 to 6 years - Give one to two 5ml spoonfuls. 6 to 12 years - Give two to four 5ml spoonfuls. Give the dose every four hours, if needed, up to a maximum of 4 doses in any 24 hours. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not give for more than 3 days unless your doctor agrees. Infants under 3 months of age: Not to be used unless for fever following vaccination at 2 months old, in which case half a 5ml spoonful may be given. A second dose may be given after 6 hours, but if fever continues after this you should see your doctor. Adults: You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are intending to take this medicine and any of the above apply, or if you are a woman who is pregnant. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Each 5ml of oral suspension contains Paracetamol 120mg.
Do not give if: Your child is under 3 months old, unless advised by a doctor. Your child is allergic to paracetamol or any other of the ingredients. Do not take it yourself if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor if: Your child has liver or kidney problems. Your child is taking any other medicines including metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine, warfarin or other blood thinning medicines. If you have been told by your doctor that your child has an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before giving this medicine. Each 5ml spoonful contains 2.5g maltitol. This provides 5.75 kcal per 5ml spoonful. After you give this medicine: This medicine may sometimes cause - Allergic reactions including skin rash. Very rarely change in the blood which may cause unusual bruising or an increase in the number of infections (e.g. sore throats) which you get. This medicine contains maltitol, which may have a mild laxative effect. E217 and E219 may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). If concerned, or anything else unusual happens, talk to your pharmacist or doctor. Contains paracetamol Do not give with any other Paracetamol-containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if the child seems well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage. Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. Store at or below 25°C. Do not refrigerate. Protect from light. For Use By date see end flap of carton. Do not use after this date.
