Balneum plus cream is an easily absorbed cream containing an ingredient called lauromacrogols which rapidly relieves itching. It has a soothing and softening effect on your skin and also works by replacing the much need oils in your skin. This helps to prevent loss of skin moisture.
Balneum plus cream also contains urea. This substance is found naturally in the skin and helps the skin to retain water. Many people with eczema and psoriasis have reduced amounts of urea in their skin and balneum plus cream can help by replacing it. Balneum plus cream has been shown to increase skin moisture for up to 24 hours. Also available in 10g and 100g tubes and in 500 pump packs.
Direction: Using clean hands, rub the cream into the affected areas twice a day until the symptoms have eased. For external use only. In the unlikely event of a pump failure, push the plug in the base of the pack until product is dispensed from the nozzle.
Do not use: If you sensitive to any of the ingredients. If you are suffering from severe and widespread reddening of the skin. If the affected area is infected or oozing or has suddenly become inflamed. On the breasts immediately prior to breast feeding. If you suspect an allergic reaction stop using the product. Balneum plus cream is usually well tolerated; however side effects may occur which can include a burning sensation, redness, itching or pus. If symptoms persist or anything unusual happens, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
