Oral solution for the symptomatic relief of coughs.
For oral use. Shake the bottle before use. Dose: Adults: 5 - 10ml (One to two 5ml spoonfuls). Children 1 to 5 years: 2.5ml (Half a 5ml spoonful) Children 6 to 12 years: 5ml (One 5ml spoonful) Sip and swallow slowly three or four times a day. Do not give to children under 1 year except on doctor's advice.
Active ingredients: Each 5ml contains: Ipecacuanha Lip. Ext BP 0.0098ml, Glycerin BP 0.5ml, Liquid Glucose BPC 1963 0.2g.
Storage: keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature protected from heat and light. Warnings: consult your doctor or pharmacist if taking medicines to control the heart rhythm, are pregnant or breast-feeding. Do not take if hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or suffer from diabetes, heart, kidney or liver disorders. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, you accidentally take too much, or experience any unusual side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Excessive or large doses may cause stomach upsets, vomiting, diarrhea and heart problems. Unsuitable in hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase, deficiency. E123 can cause allergic-type reactions including asthma. Allergy is more common in those people who are allergic to aspirin. Parabens may cause difficulty with breathing. Good dental hygiene is necessary. Do not use after the expiry date.
