For the treatment of acute diarrhoea and dehydration.
Uses: Numark Rehydration Treatment is used for the treatment of acute diarrhoea by preventing and treating the associated dehydration due to fluid and electrolyte loss.
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. Dosage: For oral use. Dissolve the contents of each sachet in 200ml of fresh drinking water. For infants and when fresh water is not available, use 200ml of freshly boiled and cooled water. Reconstitute only with water and ensure the correct amount is used. Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: The contents of one or two sachets to be taken after each loose motion, up to a maximum of 16 sachets in 24 hours. Children 2 to 12 years: The contents of one sachet to be taken after each loose motion, up to a maximum of 12 sachets in 24 hours. Infants under 2 years: For bottle/breastfed infants: One to one and a half times the usual 24 hour feed volume should be replaced by the rehydration solution. Normal feeds should be gradually resumed. Older infants: The contents of one sachet to be taken after each loose motion up to a maximum of 12 sachets in 24 hours. Infants with severe diarrhea and/or vomiting should be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.
Also contains Aspartame (which contains Phenylalanine). Each sachet contains 276mg of Sodium.
Each sachet of granules contains: Dextrose Monohydrate BP 3.58g, Sodium Chloride BP 0.47g, Potassium Chloride BP 0.30g, Sodium Citrate Dihydrate BP 0.39g, Citric Add Anhydrous BP 0.128g.
