How to make Otrivin Mu-Cron: Check that the foil packaging is not broken before use. Adults and children over 12 years: One tablet to be taken three or four times a day, up to a maximum of a tablet in 24 hours if necessary. Children 6-12 years: Half a tablet to be taken four times a day, up to a maximum of two tablets in 24 hours is necessary
Each tablet contains: Paracetamol Ph Eur.500mg, Pseudrophedrine Hydrochloride BP 60mg.
Warning: Do not exceed the stated dose, Contains paracetamol, Do not take with any other paracetamol containing products, immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage, Do not with the other decongestant containing products, Do not take this medicine for more than 7 days unless your doctor agrees, If symptoms persist, consult your doctor, Do not take if allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have liver or kidney disease, an overactive thyroid, heart or prostate problems, high blood pressure (particularly if due to a tumor near the kidney), diabetes, glaucoma or alcohol dependence, Do not take if you are receiving monoamine oxidise inhibitors for depression or have taken them in the last 14 days, or if you are taking other medicines containing pseudo ephedrine, Do not take if pregnant, Talk to your pharmacist or doctor if breast feeding, Talk to your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking heart drugs, drugs for high blood pressure (e.g. bretylium, bethanidine, guanethidine, debrisoquine, methyldopa or beta-blocker), blood thinners (e.g. warfarin), trycyclic antidepressants or or non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen), Anticonvulsants and oral contraceptives may reduce the effect of paracetamol, Avoid Alcohol, This medicine may cause nausea, vomiting, headache, restlessness, tremor, sleeplessness, fast or irregular heart beat, high blood pressure, palpitations, skin rashes and occasionally urinary retention in men. Rarely blood reactions or hallucinations may occur, If concerned or anything else unusual happens, talk to pharmacist or doctor.
